What Goldy does and doesn’t do
What Goldy can do
- Understand questions written in your own words: what you have left, your spending, what is coming up, your savings, your loans and simple calculations.
- Tell you whether you can afford a purchase: he compares the amount with what you have left before your next income.
- Show where each answer comes from: an estimate, a planned transaction or recorded data.
- Say when he does not know: if data is missing, he tells you rather than making something up.
What Goldy does not do
- Give financial advice: Goldy is not a professional financial adviser.
- Access your bank: he only knows what you have entered.
- Decide for you: he explains, you choose.

If Goldy does not understand a question, he tells you so and suggests some examples: he never guesses at random.
